❗️READ IT ALL IF YOU CAN ❗️
I must say I got triggered at that also, however I kept reading on to see what the author was getting at. Basically explaining fragmentation and bypassing that happens in most people. 💔
The ongoing rejection and abandonment of the aspects of self that are less than powerful, that are vulnerable, hurt, disappointed, unloved and shamed for existing as they're perceived and judged as inconvenient and or too limiting. ❌
Because it would be easier to assume the character role of a Divinity to justify a whole bunch of things about how we express or don't, expect, demand, guard, hoard etc 🎭
I think something along these lines is what the author was getting at, which indeed has been an ongoing theme in human psychology for thousands of years, for some it's to become a Mother, Wife, Father, Husband, Lawyer, Doctor, Healer and for some Gods and Goddesses. 👑
Embracing the magnanimous and rejecting the mundane, reaching for power and rejecting weakness, placing value in tha
t which seems in control, empowered vs the part that isn't. 🤩
My conclusion yet again, it's about embracing it all not cherry picking what we'd like to be, being at peace and working with rather than against our humanity.
